Dual Enrollment Program
Dual Enrollment Requirements
- Minimum ACT score and/or ACT subject-specific scores
- GPA of 2.5 or higher, teacher, counselor and administrative approval
- Registration requirements for college awarding credit
- Writing sample for English D.E. classes
- Pre-requisite requirements for all subjects
- 15 years or older or Southeastern Louisiana University

- ENGL 1002 – Composition II (LSU)
- MATH 1021 – College Algebra (LSU)
- MATH 1022 – Trigonometry (LSU)
- HIST 101 – Western Civilization I (SLU)
- HIST 102 – Western Civilization II (SLU)
- FREN 101 – Elementary French I (SLU)
- FREN 102 – Elementary French II (SLU)
- SPAN 101 – Elementary Spanish I (SLU)
- SPAN 102 – Elementary Spanish II (SLU)
Woodlawn Prep Course Work
- Enroll in high school & college at the same time; must meet admission standards for college awarding credit
- Earn credit on high school transcript and college transcript for the same course; permanent grades
- Courses are one semester long; therefore, students must take a 1/2 credit course for the other semester or another dual enrollment course
- Exposure to college level classes during high school; better prepared for college with a smoother transition to college after graduation
- Not all colleges accept the transcripts from the college awarding credit; check individual college websites for transfer credits awarded
