UPDATED BACKPACK POLICY

STARTING WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 29TH – ONLY MESH OR CLEAR BACKPACKS WILL BE ALLOWED TO ENTER CAMPUS

  • Students arriving with Non-Mesh/Clear backpacks will not be allowed to enter campus with the backpack.
  • Female students are allowed to carry one additional personal bag of up to 12″x6″x12″.
  • Athletic Bags will need to be brought to the gym or to the correct Coach to be checked in.
  • Students who attended the all-school assembly on Monday, January 27th were provided with a mesh backpack to help with this transition.

Football 2025 Season Meeting (Parents, Players & Prospective Players Welcome!)

There will be a football parent and player meeting this Thursday March 13th, in the theater for all current players and anyone else that is interested in playing football for the upcoming 2025 season.

ELPT Testing begins on February 10, so we are asking all (school-wide) EL students to please attend school daily and listen for your name to be called or ask your teacher if you are scheduled to take the test that day.

EBR Learn & Earn Internship Program

Are you interested in earning some money while learning new skills during the summer?

Then you may want to check out the EBR Learn & Earn Internship Program offering hands-on work experience and skill development while earning INCOME this summer! Please see the flyer posted around the school with QR CODES to apply!

  • This opportunity is open to ALL 9TH-12TH GRADE STUDENTS!
  • Students can also see Mrs. Lee in room 715 or the counselor, Mrs. Thomas, to pick up an application.

Are you up for a sweet challenge??? PI Day is this Friday, March 14th!

Prove your memory skills aren’t irrational and you could win a well-rounded prize!

The student who can recite the most digits of PI from memory by the end of school on Friday to Ms. Lagrange in room 720 will receive a WHOLE pie in a flavor of their choice.

Make sure to have your student ID badge to participate!

Student Athletic Trainer Information

Anyone interested in joining the 2025-2026 student athletic training staff should scan the QR codes on the posters and fill in the application, no later than March 31, 2025. Selected students will begin during Spring Football. All current student Sports Medicine staff should fill out the application if they wish to join next season. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Boudreaux in room 710.
